Using Windows Client Filter Diagnostics Tool
Follow these steps to test connectivity to the Policy Server with the Diagnostics tool:
- Open the Windows Control Panel and click on the Netsweeper Client Filter icon.
- In the Netsweeper Client Filter pop-up, select the Filter Settings button to access the filter configuration.
- Select the Diagnostics tab and click the Run Diagnostics button.
The Diagnostics tool will test multiple components, including Policy Server connectivity. The Configuration section of the output provides the Policy Server Address and Port information. If connectivity issues occur, review the entire diagnostics output for detailed insights.
For example, the Network Test section can relay any issues with your network, while the Policy Server Test section will display any issues with the connectivity between the Client and the Policy Service.
