Notice: Migration to Netsweeper

Important Information about Lenovo NetFilter

This knowledge base article is to inform you of an important update regarding your web filtering software. Lenovo NetFilter will be discontinued on April 1, 2025. Customers can migrate to Netsweeper, Lenovo’s new partner for web filtering software, at no additional cost. To avoid losing access to web filtering software, migration must be initiated prior to this date.

Your web filtering solution previously powered by NetFilter will be enhanced by Netsweeper with expanded filtering methods and additional features, including network-level filtering by DNS or proxy for guest devices, along with support for iOS and Android.

Action required: Submit a migration request

Customers who currently have Lenovo NetFilter will be upgraded to Netsweeper at no cost upon request. Lenovo will help you transfer your filtering policy data to Netsweeper to make the migration process simple. To start this process, you must approve the data transfer.  You should receive an email with a link for requesting to migrate to Netsweeper.

If you do not request a migration to Netsweeper, your web filtering coverage will end on April 1, 2025.

We are here to help ensure a smooth transition to Netsweeper. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Menasian at jmenasian@lenovo.com
