This document explores how to manage and modify Reports in the WebAdmin.
The Reports pages allow you to View, Edit and Clone Reports.
To delete one of more Reports, go to one of the Reports windows, select one or more Reports and click the Delete icon on the toolbar.
You can Export and Import Report Definitions. Use the Import and Export buttons in the Demand, Scheduled and Continuous Report Managers.
Use the Show link to display the chart for the selected Report.
Clicking the View link for a selected report opens the ‘Report’ page for that report. In addition to editing, deleting, and cloning the report, you can also Refresh and Rerun the report.
Use the Tile/Table button to toggle between Table and Tile view.
In Table view, click the Tile view.
In Tile view, click the Tile/Table icon to return to table view.
Use the Settings button in the toolbar to add or remove columns. You can also drag and drop columns to reorder.
Clicking on any Report name in the Reports windows will expand to display a chart, and view/export options. For Scheduled Reports, you can select the instance to view or export data.
Report Templates can be created from existing Scheduled or Demand Reports. See ' Create Template from Existing Reports' in the Report Templates section for more information.
You can view and edit the report definition when editing a Report. The Show Definition link opens the 'Show Definitions' page.
Clicking the link displays the definition of the report which contains the filters, groupings, presentation options, timezone, language, and email thresholds. You can copy the definition and use it to create a new Report. Click the Show Report link to return to the main Report window.
The Editing and Cloning options perform many of the same functions when accessed. Cloning will add a new report while editing modifies the existing report.
1. Click the Clone link for the Report.
2. Modify the Report Name and Date Range at the top of the window.
3. Click Create Report.
4. The cloned Report displays.
When viewing the Demand, Scheduled or Continuous Reports windows, you can use the Filter icon to filter for the type of Reports you wish to view. Click the Filter icon and click the Add Filter link.
Once you are satisfied that a Demand Report contains the information you require, you can change it to a Scheduled Report and then set the interval for your Report.
1. In the Demand Reports page, click the Edit link beside the ‘Client Requesting Pornography’ Report.
2. The Custom Report page displays. Change the Report Name to Clients Requesting Pornography Daily Report and change Report Type to Scheduled.
3. Select the ‘Interval’ Day and the ‘Start Date’ as Current Time.
4. Click Save Report. The Report displays in the Scheduled Report window.
5. When the Scheduled Report is generated and the condition is met, a Report is emailed.
The Reporter supports drill down reporting in the WebAdmin. This allows users to click a specific slice, bar, or country to drill down into a group and display the next grouping's results for that specific section. This only applies to reports with multiple summary groups.
It should be noted that you can drill down into Pie, Map, and Bar Charts. Any other Summary Group Type can be drilled down to but you cannot drill down passed that point.
Multiple Scheduled Report instances can be viewed over time in a motion chart. This function only displays if there are more than one Scheduled Report.
You can select from an options popup to skip empty instances and repeat from the end.
There is a play button and slider that allows you to select instances to display.
